Up Against The Wall

Moving 47 tour participants through the streets of New York City can be a real challenge. It’s easy to get separated on busy sidewalks, hectic intersections, in crowded parks and in packed subway stations. We found the quickest way to avoid confusion when riding the subway is to have the choristers step out of the subway car and immediately line up against the wall, allowing the rest of the passengers to exit the train platform. Our directors, Ben Lane and Claire Hodge, have been yelling “up against the wall” throughout the tour and we knew we had to capture one of these moments in a photo!
